CIM Scotland reveals regional volunteer of the year winners

CIM Scotland is delighted to announce the winners of CIM Scotland’s Volunteer of the Year Award, nominated by peers on the board and others at CIM centrally.

This year saw Martin Jordan, Events Vice Chair for Scotland, named as Volunteer of the Year, while Robert Moffet, Ambassador, was praised as Unsung Hero of the Year.

Martin’s win was driven by his invigoration of the CIM Scotland events strategy, which saw the creation and delivery of engaging and informative events – and led to an increase in attendee levels. Following lockdown due to COVID-19, Martin very quickly initiated an online event to test this format - leading the way for the Volunteer Network - and has devised a schedule of events for the coming months that will deliver on our mission.

Rob was named Unsung Hero for all his behind-the-scenes work within the CIM Scotland board. As well as creating all the minutes for Board meetings, he is always enthusiastic and quick to help any and all board members with any issues. He was also on hand at events and was proactive to ensure attendees were getting the most from the event.

It is fantastic to see the hard work of the board recognised, and we will be putting several members of our team forward for the national CIM Volunteer awards.
