Green marketing – how, when and where
Over the last few years sustainability has become a big issue and many consumers are looking at the green credentials of the companies that they choose to buy from. This presents a challenge for the marketing industry, how do we as marketers make our client’s green efforts of interest to consumers and contemporaries- and how can we avoid the pitfalls of working with such a sensitive issue?
In our upcoming December event, our special guest speaker Nick Honey will guide delegates through the how, when and where of green marketing. This interactive session will ask attendees what green marketing means to them, and which brands are either getting it right, or getting it very wrong.
The workshop will cover UK consumer attitudes to green marketing from a population segmentation point of view. How does demographic relate to green preferences, and in turn how does this relate to the marketing they respond to? Once this is established, how do we include green marketing in everyday strategy, for example, could sustainability concerns mean the end of resource-guzzling print?
This event is designed to suit marketers at every level and is an essential training opportunity for anyone including sustainability concerns in their marketing campaigns.
Nick has been a marketing practitioner for 25 years, specialising in green marketing for over 8 years. Previous clients include Ecotricity, Ibuyeco, Eden Project, National Trust and Centre Parcs.
This event promises to be a highlight in the CIM winter calendar, so get your tickets now before they go!
