- Midlands Organisations Scoop Marketing Excellence Awards
Congratulations to JBH The Content Agency and The Tonic Communications, which were recognised for their outstanding achievements at the recent Chartered Institute of Marketing’s 2018 Marketing Excellence Awards.
At the gala event held in London (April 12) JBH-The Content Agency scooped the award for Best Use of Social Media.
The award recognise the inventive use of social media to engage in tangible interactions with an audience, and social media activity that has made a measurable impact. JBH’s Northampton office was honoured for its work with Reed in Partnership on the ‘Three Men on a Wall Help Young Londoners into Work’ initiative.
Vision Express scooped Best Use of Corporate Social Responsibility, an award which recognises organisations that put responsible business practice at the heart of what they do - and use their influence to deliver a positive social or environmental change. The company worked with The Tonic Communications agency in Nottingham and was singled out for its ‘Vision Express gears up to tackle glaucoma’ campaign.
Discussing the success, Chris Daly, chief executive of CIM, said: “Despite the challenging business environment we have experienced during the past 12 months, the standard of entries for the 2018 Marketing Excellence Awards was extremely high.
"Professional marketing is a vital driver of business advantage – boosting commercial outcomes and growing talent. At a time when the return on investment and data protection rigour of marketers are under scrutiny, our winners demonstrate the value of creative marketing.
"I would like to offer my congratulations to JBH-The Content Agency, The Tonic Communications and Vision Express; they reflect the very best in global marketing talent. I would also like to thank our founding partner The Marketing Trust who help make these awards possible.”
