Smiles all round at our latest mentoring event

Smiles were in plentiful supply following our most recent online Meet the Mentors event, hosted by the CIM Greater London and South West & CI Committees.

The session brought together 17 mentees and 9 mentors for an engaging and energising conversation, creating space for honest discussion, shared experiences and practical advice. From career development and confidence building to navigating change and next steps, the quality of dialogue was a powerful reminder of the value mentoring brings to our profession.

What made the event particularly special was the openness and generosity of everyone involved. Mentors shared their time, insights and encouragement, while mentees arrived with thoughtful questions and a clear appetite to learn. The result was a genuinely uplifting session that reinforced the importance of connection, support and learning at every stage of a marketing career.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm, engagement and mutual respect that mentoring fosters - and a clear demonstration that mentoring really does make a difference.
