Campaign to supercharge support for GB Paralympians
This year marks the first time that the British Paralympic Association has launched a major public facing campaign in support of our Paralympic athletes. In London, CIM works with three charity partners including ParalympicsGB and we’re proud to spread the word about the campaign.
Supercharge ParalympicsGB
This new campaign is designed to raise the excitement levels and raise funds for ParalympicsGB in the run up to the Rio Games this year and beyond. The Supercharge ParalympicsGB campaign went live in January with a complete Supercharge identity, launch film, dramatic imagery, text donations and a wide range of fundraising tools and equipment.

Inspiring imagery
Atmospheric, shareable images from photographer Tom Barnes have been posted on social media.
Text to donate facility
A whopping 37% of adults and 60% of teens admit they’re addicted to their smartphones according to InstaGiv. As the population has gone mobile the charity has developed a mobile engagement strategy which includes a text to donate facility. By texting “SUPER” to 70700, fans of Paralympic sport can donate £5 to the British Paralympic Association, standard network charges apply.
Follow the campaign
A campaign website Supercharge ParalympicsGB continues the story. The campaign makes it easy to share the story on social media.
The charity has also made fundraising packs available, together with top tips for supporters to supercharge their own fundraising activity.
The charity’s Facebook page for fans of the team at ParalympicsGB has a following of over 140,000 and now reflects the new campaign messaging.
