Digital disruption in the travel industry, 2 July
On 2 July 2015 the Travel Industry Group is hosting its next event on digital transformation.
Given what companies such as Uber and AirBnb have done to the taxi and hotel industries its not surprising that digital is such a hot topic. Now that the second wave of the internet is upon us - mobile, the sharing economy and big data - the transformation is going to be even more extensive.
This event will look at the technologies that are disrupting traditional companies but also opening up new possibilities. Digital transformation is about more than technology and this event will look at how organisations can innovate, change and harness creativity.
