Amy Ross

Amy Ross has been awarded “Volunteer of the Year” at the CIM’s East of England Regional Awards, part of the national CIM Volunteer Awards 2021. Amy is the East of England’s Communications Ambassador.

The CIM receives a considerable amount of goodwill and hard work from its volunteer community and the awards recognise and celebrate the efforts of individuals and teams.

East of England CIM Chair Marie Lake said: “Since joining the East of England Board as a Comms Ambassador, Amy has done a great job in communicating to the region’s followers on social media, ensuring they are kept up-to-date with CIM news and events.

“Amy has also supported the Chair in updating and finalising local press releases, helping to gain local coverage.

“Even during the pandemic and with the pressures of home schooling during that period, Amy remained dedicated to the Comms Ambassador's task.

“In addition to this, Amy has been mentoring a team of CIM Marketing Club student volunteers at Anglia Ruskin University. The student volunteer role aims to raise awareness of the CIM among the university students. Thanks to Amy, the volunteers have had the support they need to start their new roles, plus the confidence and know-how to optimise their activity, helping to meet the CIM’s local objectives. A huge well done and thank-you to Amy.”

Amy will be put forward to the national CIM Volunteer Awards 2021. The ceremony takes place online on Tuesday 20th July.
