CIM Wales Inspire! visits BBC Cymru Wales

In the latest CIM Marketing Inspire! event, we had the privilege of stepping into the headquarters of BBC Cymru Wales.

Beginning with an immersive tour of the radio and television studios (where some lucky members also had a ‘hello’ from celebrities Derek ‘the Weatherman’ Brockway and Radio 6 Music presenter Huw Stephens), members were provided with the opportunity to witness live broadcasts and all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into our favourite TV and radio shows and podcasts.

Following the tour, we were treated to an engaging Q&A session with top members of BBC Cymru Wales’s marketing and communication teams. Their enthusiasm for creativity and partnership as a team that develops and safeguards some of Wales’s most renowned brands, was both refreshing and enlightening.

It was great to spend time with BBC Cymru Wales and our fellow marketers in a valuable opportunity for networking, fostering connections, and taking inspiration from others to apply in our own roles.
