About CIM Cymru/Wales

The Wales Committee approve an annual delivery plan which aims to deliver member benefits in a Welsh context.

The aims of the Wales Committee are to:
• Raise the status of marketing, marketers and CIM.
• Deliver an engaging and quality events programme.
• Work with other professional bodies with common aims, arranging joint events for the benefits of members 
• Work with Universities and other educational institutions in Wales to assist marketers at the very beginning of their careers.
• Ensure our members are equipped with the commercial, financial and operational know-how needed to be credible and influential.
• Lobby the National Assembly for Wales and the Welsh Government regarding the value of vocational (professional) qualifications, the value of CPD and
  professional marketing standards.
• Assist the Welsh Government to deliver marketing support.
• Encourage networking with non-members by supporting other bodies' events where appropriate.
• Actively engage with members and other marketers through comment and debate in Wales-specific LinkedIn groups and Twitter.
• Recognise and exploit the value of bilingual Wales.
