DIVERT event at Falmouth University on 1 November – Routes through digital disruption

FREE DIVERT is an exhibition and networking event that explores how technology is disrupting business, and society. In conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the evening offers a range of perspectives on media, fashion, ethics, data, health and the human computer interface.

Two Falmouth University experts will give short talks on how this new industrial revolution impacts the Cornish economy and beyond. Year 3 Fashion Marketing undergraduates interpret key topics in static and digital form. These range from personalisation of the customer experience to sustainable supply chain transparency supported through block chain.

Professor Chris Archer Brown, Falmouth Chair for Design Thinking in Entrepreneurship, will explain opportunities and threats arising from our rapidly advancing ability to capture data through numerous touchpoints. Dr Anna Mankee-Williams, Senior Research Fellow for Heath & Care, considers the potential for smart fashion to revolutionise health monitoring and protection.

Easy free parking with a warm welcome and drinks from Fashion Marketing staff and students.
