A south west university has been confirmed as the first university achieve CIM Strategic Partner status
We are very pleased to confirm that Bournemouth University, has become the first university to be named as a Strategic Partner of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. The move will see us collaborating even more closely with BU, to enhance standards in studying and boost student career prospects, by ensuring graduates leave with the skills employers are looking for.
CIM Chief Executive Chris Daly said: “The new partnership will provide a greater synergy between CIM and Bournemouth University, adding value to the qualifications the students receive and thereby enhancing their career prospects.”
Graham Goode, CIM Programme Leader at BU added that: “Bournemouth University is delighted to forge a Strategic Partnership with CIM. This close relationship provides opportunities for our students to achieve widely recognised professional qualifications, to excel in CIM’s ‘The Pitch’ national competition and to collaborate with CIM on the Mike Warne Event.”
Maggie Jones, director of qualifications and partnerships at CIM also commented that: “The CIM brand and qualifications are globally respected and this new strategic partnership programme delivers a clear advantage for qualification providers, ensuring students have access to the training they need to achieve their professional goals.”
This is an amazing result and we are delighted that the university has been formally recognised for their hard work and commitment. They have worked very closely with the CIM for many years and have shown a high level of commitment to marketing education.
