Geneva Guerrieri Award 2021

We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the winner of this year's Geneva Guerrieri Award.

This award, which is presented in partnership with Bournemouth University, is one of the highlights of the SW CIM Calendar and this year has been presented to:

Anamaria Porras

In recognition of her achievements within her studies, which has resulted in her being confirmed as the top student on the BA (Hons) Marketing Communications degree at the University. Congratulations Anamaria and we wish you every success in your future endeavours.

This prize is dedicated to the memory of Geneva Guerrieri, a 2017-18 BA (Hons) Marketing Communications graduate, who was an exemplary student during her time at Bournemouth University, who sadly passed away in October 2018.

Claire Bryant who presented the award on behalf of the Regional Board said:

"As the Student & Education Ambassador for the SW Board of the CIM, I am incredibly passionate about students' development and I am absolutely thrilled to be able to present this award to Anamaria today. This award is testament to Anamaria's continued hard work and effort in her studies and is fully deserved. I wish her all the best for the future and I am sure she will be incredibly successful in her marketing career."

Upon receiving the award Anamaria said:

“I feel overwhelmed and honoured to receive this award. It symbolises all the hard work I've put in throughout my degree, and it will always be a motivating reminder that effort and determination do not go unnoticed. More importantly, knowing the origin of this award and the inspirational lady it is named after, makes it even more special and invaluable. I’m grateful to the CIM for allowing me to end this chapter of my degree in such a meaningful and satisfying way.”

Congratulations Anamaria!
