The CIM SW Group welcomes new Channel Ambassador, Elenor Bouchet

The South West Cim Group has welcomed Elenor Bouchet to the team as the Channel Islands Ambassador.

Elenor Bouchet is a Freelance Marketing Consultant based in Jersey and founded Golden Thread Marketing in 2021. Her current client list includes market leading clients in the Technology, Recruitment and Finance industries.

Passionate about developing clear marketing strategies and implementing effective and innovative marketing communications, Elenor has more than 20 years’ experience in offshore financial services marketing. She has been Head of Marketing & Business Development for Fairway Group, a fiduciary services provider of trusts, funds and pensions. Prior to that she was Head of International Marketing for Ashburton Investments, the asset management arm of South Africa’s largest financial services groups, FirstRand.

Finding her passion for marketing while studying Business Studies at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, Elenor joined the Royal Bank of Scotland International’s graduate training programme to learn all aspects of the business, eventually becoming Corporate Marketing Manager and gaining the CIM Post Graduate Diploma in that time.

She became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in 2019 and has held Chartered Marketer status since 2007.

Elenor said: “The Channel Islands has always had a strong marketing community which has waned over recent years and as Channel Islands Ambassador, I will help to connect local marketers with the wider CIM to provide more opportunity for them to access education, communications and events. As well as helping to inform the Islands’ business communities about the added value that professional marketers can bring to their businesses.”

Chair of the SW CIM Group, Claire Bryant, said: “I am thrilled that Elenor has joined our team here in the South West as we merge the Channel Islands into our Group. Elenor brings a wealth of experience and I am super excited to re-engage with our fellow CIM members in the Channel Islands and bring them the benefits of the CIM.”
