Hays Recruiting experts in marketing decided to identify what it takes to make it as a marketing leader. They surveyed 370 senior-level marketing professionals from organisations of all sizes across the UK between April and June 2014. They were asked about their educational background, qualifications, route to leadership, international experience, personal characteristics, challenges and advice for the next generation.
