It is a chance for marketers to once again reunite under one roof and celebrate the region’s talented marketing sector at Newcastle Civic Centre.

Members of the board will be judging the award categories and chair, Kirsty Ramsey, will be presenting an award on the night with CIM also endorsing the event.

Nominations are open and the awards categories are: Rising Star of the Year, Marketer of the Year, Marketing Director of the Year, Campaign of the Year (Agency), Campaign of the Year (In-house), Not for Profit Campaign of the Year, Brand Creation of the Year (Agency) Product Launch of the Year, Agency of the Year (under 20 employees), Agency of the Year (under 20 employees), In-house Marketing Team of the Year, Outstanding Achievement Award and new for 2021 The Adaptability Award.

Claire Westgate, Echo Events, said: “We are delighted to once again be supported by CIM for this year’s North East Marketing Awards. It’s fantastic to have their endorsement and expertise. We look forward to welcoming marketing professionals from across the region to celebrate success.”

Kirsty Ramsay, chair, CIM North East board, said: “We are so lucky to have such talented marketers in our region and we can’t wait to be part of an event which shines such a spotlight on great people and creative work in the North East. Throughout the pandemic I think everyone got even more creative, campaigns have had more impact and the way marketing has pivoted should be celebrated. I have seen so many award-winning campaigns and it will be a lot of fun to review the submissions and get to meet some of the region’s most talented teams. “
