Following hot on the heels of their ‘Think big, act small’ events this week, CIM has today announced it will be running a series of events across the UK to help businesses write their own marketing plan.
Part of CIM’s commitment to provide ‘brilliant marketing ideas for agile businesses’, these low cost, interactive marketing workshops will enable delegates to write a marketing plan for their business using the template and other online resources available from CIM Marketing Expert. Designed for people with only a basic understanding of marketing and little or no formal training, they will help anyone running or involved in a micro or small business.
The workshops in the North of England will welcome a number of CIM Accredited Study Centre tutors with practical experience, who will cover; what is marketing?, a framework for marketing, customers, the marketing mix and learning by measuring. Delegates will end the day with a basic marketing plan that they can start putting into practice the next day.
Peter Rees, who will be presenting at the North West event, said “It’s not just about SEO or PPC. We will give you the template of how to build your marketing plan from strategy to tactical implementation and evaluation, so a much broader overview of what you need to be doing to grow your business.”
The events, titled ‘Marketing Expert in a Day’ are open to CIM members and non-members. Non-members will also get 3 months membership of CIM so that they will be able to use Marketing Expert, and other indispensable small business marketing online resources, featured in the workshop.
