CIM is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Gatiss MCIM as its new Creative Ambassador for the North East.

Jane is MD and Founder of Scarab4, a full-service niche marketing agency based in Northumberland and which works solely in the energy, process, manufacturing and engineering sectors.

With over 16 years spent in marketing roles across the energy, engineering and construction sectors, Jane is particularly passionate about supporting these growing industries within the region and is very proud of the Scarab4 agency as it carves a reputation for being unique to these sectors. Jane is also an advocate for driving marketing forward in the North East and getting as many people into the career and the CIM as possible.

Speaking about her appointment, Jane commented "I am delighted to be taking on this role for the CIM. Now is an exciting time to be in marketing and, for me, this role is about promoting marketing in the North East and working with all other board members to deliver change.  I am very excited about helping people get into this career, supporting them with the professional development they need to grow and, as part of that, actively promoting the benefits of being involved in the CIM."

She added "I would like to take this opportunity to thank CIM for appointing me to the board and I can't wait to get started."
