Newcastle University Business School will host a CIM event on 15 February which will look at customer insights for better product marketing, specifically in the medical sector.

Nick Hutchinson, Medical Ambassador for CIM in the North East, who is organising the event explained, "The commercial success of products and services for medical or healthcare applications depends on the identification of unmet customer needs and the development of an offering that meets them.  Attending this event will allow delegates to advance their company's strategic marketing initiatives, develop better market offerings and gain a competitive edge."

Chaired by Dale Athey, CEO of Orla Protein Technologies, who will be joined by three expert speakers:  Dr Josephine Go Jefferies, Assistant Professor in Marketing at Newcastle University Business School, Colin Tristram, Director at HistoCyte Laboratories Ltd and Holly Shiel-Redfern, Commercial Director at Explain Market Research, the event will include presentations and a panel discussion, during which the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.

The event, sponsored by NRG and Newcastle University Business School, is titled 'The commercialisation of medical products' and is open to CIM members and non-members.
