- Hull University Business School becomes a CIM Study Centre
Hull University Business School is establishing a CIM Accredited Study Centre to offer the CIM Professional Certificate and Diploma to clients in the Humber region.
Hull University Business School has a history of excellence in its marketing teaching. Its Undergraduate marketing programme was voted the best in the UK in 2014, and in 2016 it was the winner for Best Student Engagement in the CIM Marketing Excellence Awards. Its students also won first and second place in the 2016 and 2017 CIM national Student Pitch competitions and came second in 2018.
The Certificate in Professional Marketing (Level 4) consists of three modules: Marketing, Integrated Communications, and Digital Marketing. Each of these modules is delivered in eight, three-hour evening sessions over consecutive weeks, with a full day revision workshop on a Saturday at the end of each module. The Diploma in Professional Marketing (Level 6) is delivered in the same way, and consists of modules in Strategic Marketing, Mastering Metrics and either Driving Innovation or Digital Strategy. The programme will start in January 2019 and will be delivered by professionally-qualified University lecturers who all have industry experience.
