CIM has today released details of the sixth category in their 2017 Northern Awards, which will be held in Manchester on Thursday 09 November.
The CIM Northern Awards, now in its fourth year and sponsored by the Marketing Trust, celebrates the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the North of England, including the Isle of Man. There are 17 award categories, 13 of which are open to entries, and the evening event will once again be hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “We are thrilled to welcome back Dawn Holmes FCIM, Director of The Insight Magicians, to judge our Best Use of Insight category.” Dawn works with a wide range of clients to maximise the use of data and research to deliver true business benefit. Drawing on broad experience in marketing, IT and commerce, she is well placed to provide value to a wide range of projects. She is also currently doing research into Big Data at Alliance Manchester Business School as a DBA Researcher. Dawn will be looking for the best campaign that reflects excellent use of insight and excellent knowledge and understanding of its target audience, including data and analytics.

This category was won last year by Leeds-based agency, Brass, for their ‘I can with TD’ campaign for their client TD Direct Investing (TDDI). A case study of their campaign can be found at http://regions.cim.co.uk/north/home/case-studies/
