With a decade spent shaping the Leeds Rhinos brand, Matt’s work spans men’s and women’s rugby as well as netball. His mastery of experiential marketing, data-driven strategies, and brand management has made him instrumental in the club’s ongoing growth and success.

Career Highlights

Matt’s journey in sports marketing began with roles at Hull Stingrays Ice Hockey Club and Hull FC, where he built his foundation in CRM and marketing strategy. In 2015, Matt joined Leeds Rhinos as CRM and Data Manager, where he established a company-wide CRM system that transformed the club's approach to data marketing and customer insights. His success in this role led to his promotion to Head of CRM & Data in 2016, where he advanced membership strategies and enhanced fan engagement.

In 2017, Matt was promoted to Head of Marketing at Leeds Rhinos, overseeing brand development across all Rhinos teams. His leadership ensures that the Rhinos' brand remains consistent and continues to resonate with fans.
