We have a current vacancy for a senior marketer to join our North West Regional Committee in the role of Chair. The Chair is responsible for leading volunteer Committee members in developing an operational plan focused on supporting CIM Events, Communications, and Education teams. This role requires both strategic and operational skills, and candidates must be able to manage and motivate a team of volunteers.

We are also recruiting for Vice Chair - Events. This role involves developing regional events (both in-person and online) to be approved by the Marketing Community Manager and the broader Committee - they will be delivered by the Vice Chair, alongside other Events Ambassadors. The Vice Chair is responsible for organising the events, along with other Events Ambassadors. The responsibilities include identifying event topics, securing speakers and venues, exploring sponsorship and partnership opportunities, and coordinating with the Events Team at CIM Head Office. The Vice Chair will also collaborate with the rest of the Committee to promote the events to members and other contacts.

All committee roles are voluntary with an initial term of office of three years. To be eligible for Chair and Vice Chair roles, you must be a voting member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM, MCIM, or FCIM), hold a current CIM membership, and be based in the North West Region. Your application should include a CV and a brief 'elevator pitch' outlining why you are a suitable candidate, and indicating the role(s) you are applying for.
