Jen is a marketing and communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in both corporate and public sector landscapes. She has strong stakeholder and employee engagement skills and a track record in delivering marketing and communication strategies and tactical plans alongside managing multifunctional and varied teams.She currently works as an External Communications Manager within the education sector and works across the full mix of marketing and communications programs from pupil recruitment campaigns, to social media, websites and school specific communications.Jen prides herself on her firm values including inclusive leadership and is excited to use her passion for supporting and mentoring individuals to support CIM members across the region to achieve their career development needs and future aspirations.As well as her MCIM from The Charted Institute of Marketing, Jen holds an MSc from Lancaster University and a BSc from The University of Birmingham, both in the environmental field as well as a Foundation Degree, Professional Development (Business, Leadership and Management) from Edge Hill University.

With hands-on, directional and marketing management skills I am as comfortable in a board meeting as being part of a day-to-day implementing team. Leveraging over 20 years’ experience both client-side and agency and within various business sectors including lifestyle, tourism, retail and social marketing I listen, question and interrogate insights to find 'the big idea'; positioning brands and campaigns that change perceptions and drive actions. Always analysing results to measure victories continuing to learn. As TTMA18 Agency Professional of the Year and CIM mentor with a passion for promoting credibility within the creative sector. As Vice Chair of Communications on the North West Committee I hope to achieve an increased share of voice for members through showcasing the depth and breadth of talent within the region, aligning the over-arching vision of the CIM through in focus content pieces that cut through the noise and express the importance and value of CIMship, increasing engagement and recruitment of members.
Vice Chair Education
Sali is Associate Director, Marketing and Communications at boutique agency The Zebra Partnership and is also a self-employed marketing consultant. She started her career in marketing nearly 20 years ago in sales and advertising before specialising in acquisition marketing; working in higher education as well as finance and the world of football working with Wembley Stadium and The FA. Prior to her current role, Sali led a large marketing communications team in one of the three faculties at the University of Manchester where she was responsible for marketing, communications and student recruitment, overseeing the delivery of campaigns and events in the UK and overseas. As the first in her family to attend university qualifying to master’s level in strategic marketing, Sali is a proud advocate of continuing professional development and encouraging more diversity within higher education and industry. As a former school governor at a local girl’s high school and now a member of several committees in industry, she continues to promote and champion diversity to empower young people. As Vice Chair for Education Sali aims to continue promoting the benefits of a professional marketing career to the next generation of marketers, showcasing the talent in the North West and importantly the value that CIM membership provides to its members.
A marketing and communications strategist, with over 12 years experience across Retail, Technology, Banking, FMCG and many other sectors, Rasha has worked both agency and client side roles, seeing the challenges first hand from both sides of the board room. Holding a BSc in Psychology with media as well as several CPD courses in relation to communications science and digital marketing, Rasha is passionate about psychology, marketing, communication and data ethics in relation to the advancements of technology. In terms of achievements, she was recently shortlisted for the Made in Manchester Awards for 2020 with her previous work at global events agency, The Fresh Group. Rasha has joined the team here at CIM to help other fellow marketers discover key insights, build content strategies, and assist in the quest for creative thought leadership. Rasha brings to the table her specialisation in content & social media marketing, marketing strategy and multicultural marketing insights. She is proud of her Middle-Eastern and North African heritage, successfully working on many multi-cultural research projects for clients across the supermarket sector and international brands. Rasha is currently founder of Social Jaguar - a boutique Marketing Strategy Consultancy and at the same time works part-time as the Marketing Director for Qalhata Technologies, a company that specialises in Data Analysis, Data Visualisation, Automation, Eye Tracking and Cyber Security.
Communications and Isle of Man Ambassador
Richard is the founder and Managing Director of Isle of Man-based RS Marketing and PR Ltd.
He established the company in 2018 following 10 years in key marketing, brand and PR roles for the Isle of Man Government, where his work involved engagement with a broad range of business sectors and political interfaces. Prior to his roles within Isle of Man Government he worked for 10 years in product marketing and communications roles within the telecoms sector.
Richard has been actively involved with CIM for nearly 20 years. In recognition of his contributions to CIM activities in the Isle of Man, he was named CIM North West Member of the Year in 2007 and CIM North West Ambassador of the Year in 2017 and CIM North West Volunteer of the Year in 2020.
In addition to his business and CIM roles, Richard sits on the Board for the Institute of Directors, Isle of Man and the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association. His is also a Trustee of the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospice Care at Home Trust.
I’m an ambitious and enthusiastic Chartered Marketing Professional with 7 years’ experience working in B2B markets. A strategic, creative, confident communicator, making things happen.I currently work at Sika – a chemical manufacturer of solutions into the construction industry. Following a background in science and a PhD, Stephanie moved into the commercial world with a variety of roles, including Product Management, where her passion for Marketing was realized.Stephanie has gone on to continue learning and developing within the Marketing discipline and has achieved both MCIM and Chartered Marketer status.With a Marketing career spanning over 10 years Stephanie has worked in various sectors and supported numerous portfolios. She has held a variety of Marketing roles and managed teams of various sizes and functions.Stephanie is results driven and combining this with a lifelong passion for learning and development, is excited to be part of the team continuing to bring forwards valuable and insightful events as part of her role as of Vice Chair – Events.
Zoe is a Marketing Project Manager at Gateley Plc (a legal and professional services group) and has been at the business since 2019.With 10+ years’ experience in Marketing, she has worked in various roles at other law firms, including a Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager and Head of Marketing.Zoe completed the Diploma in Professional Marketing with the CIM Academy and is now eyeing up the new sustainability module! Zoe has achieved both MCIM and Chartered Marketer status.
Currently a Senior Marketing Specialist at Geotab, a B2B commercial vehicle technology company, with over seven years of experience in sustainable transport industry.With a degree in International Events Management as well as voluntary experience for both public and private events, alongside multiple marketing qualifications, Tamara looks forward to taking on the role of Events Ambassador for the North West, while supporting and developing the CIM ecosystem.
