CIM strives for business leaders and opinion formers to recognise the positive contribution professional marketing can bring to their organisations, the economy and wider society. We support, develop and represent marketers, organisations and the profession all over the world. 

We are now seeking to strengthen our Yorkshire team. This will be by offering networking opportunities and events, promoting professional marketing practice, offering career development opportunities and developing our digital channels and regional PR.

The roles are voluntary and to be eligible you must be a voting member of CIM (ACIM, MCIM, or FCIM) based in Yorkshire. Appointments are for an initial term of office of three years.

Vice Chair Education - The role involves liaising with our Volunteer Partnerships Manager and Learning Partnerships Manager covering Yorkshire to engage with identified partner universities to promote local activities and events, deliver talks to students about marketing careers and CIM qualifications and membership. You may assist with the development of marketing clubs and societies, present prizes at strategic partner universities and liaise, where applicable, with CIM student ambassadors on campus. More details about the roles can be found here.

Vice Chair Communications - The role, supported by other communications ambassadors, involves content marketing, curating and creating content for the northern regional website, developing our social media channels and acting as a point of contact for our PR and Communications Team, based at CIM HQ and our external PR agency. You will liaise with our events ambassadors to promote the regional events programme. More details about the role can be found here.
