CIM’s South West Regional Board has been strengthened by the addition of two new board members.

Some descriptionTunde Awe, MBA, MCIM, Chartered Marketer joins the board as Vice Chair. Tunde trained originally as an award-winning Chemical Engineer, before following his passion into a career in Marketing, undertaking CIM professional qualifications.

In Africa, Tunde undertook several cross functional commercial roles at Procter & Gamble West Africa and The Coca-Cola Company in Nigeria - winning a global recognition award for Speed to market at P&G. Since moving to the UK, Tunde has worked at Nielsen (winning a national Client Service award) and now works as a Marketing Consultant and Interim Manager.

Tunde explains; “I hope to bring both client and agency perspectives, as well as diversity, to the Regional Board. I believe that CIM and marketing should obtain more recognition for its contribution to the prosperity of its stakeholders and I look forward to working with CIM’s team in the South West.

Some descriptionMaggie Robinson, MCIM joins CIM’s South West board as a development ambassador in Wiltshire. Maggie established her business, Smart Thinking Consultancy, five years ago after establishing her marketing career in blue chip organisations. Maggie has been a CIM member for just over three years and is currently completing her assessment for Chartered Status.

Maggie says; “CIM helps me keep up to date with trends and I can access accredited courses and workshops to keep on top of my skills to ensure I am delivering the best service to my clients. Within my new role on the South West board, I am hoping to support other marketers within Wiltshire to help them access CIM accredited courses, support and advice.  I hope fellow CIM members in the area will contact me and let me know the type of events and support they would like to see in the area”.
