Could you be an Ambassador on the South West Regional Board?

With the exciting restructuring of CIM, the regional board responsible for local member engagement, is now seeking five new enthusiastic ambassadors to join our South West regional board. The vacancies are for experienced marketers in the following disciplines:        

•          Charity Ambassador
•          Student Ambassador
•          Manufacturing Ambassador
•          Professional Services Ambassador
•          Tourism Ambassador

The ambassadors will be accountable for marketing events in their area of expertise throughout the region and will either take responsibility for organising these events themselves, or find and manage others to do so voluntarily. You will also need to have and be willing to build regional networks and raise the profile of CIM within the region. 

Ambassadors are expected to attend quarterly board meetings and to be full members of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.  Duties would probably require two to three hours’ commitment per week and the overriding objective is to promote the CIM rather than one’s own interests.
