Multi-disciplinary speaker line up revealed  for 2017 Growing Gloucestershire Conference

The full agenda is now available for this year’s Growing Gloucestershire Conference which will take place on 21 June 2017 at The Growth Hub and University of Gloucestershire’s Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester.

Around 200 business people attend the one-day conference every year to learn from some of Gloucestershire’s finest speakers, share best practice and connect with other business owners and managers.

Some descriptionLed by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) but open to anyone from any sector or industry.

Seminars

The conference will be themed around talks on financial management, people, marketing and management. 15 speakers will cover 12 seminars enabling delegates to choose  three talks to attend. View the full programme.

Conference keynotes 

Conference keynotes are Dean of Business and Enterprise at University of Gloucestershire Dr Gwyn Jones and best-selling business author and internationally renowned speaker Geoff Burch.

Panel discussion

New for 2017 is a panel discussion with local representatives of national institutes and GFirst LEP, who will be debating a hot topic they believe will be impacting business professionals in the county, and county growth deal news presented by David Owen, CEO of GFirst LEP.

Commenting on GFirst LEP's involvement in the conference, David Owen said: "The Growing Gloucestershire Conference is a great event for professionals in the county and I'm looking forward to sharing the most recent news on how we're future-proofing Gloucestershire."

An exhibition hall will be at the heart of the conference teeming with county businesses including 2017 conference sponsors, Albright IP and Omega Resource Group.

The conference is organised by Gloucestershire Professionals, a group of volunteers representing well-known national professional institutes and membership bodies.
