Marie Wilcox DipM FCIM

Marie has a passion for invigorating organisations with a strong focus on strategy, innovation and hands on business rejuvenation and has 20+ years B2B marketing experience across cyber security, complex engineering and technology across both government and commercial organisations, with award winning results. 

Marie has held many senior management roles in both large corporates and small start-ups. Her unique ability of taking technical information, developing market winning propositions, building teams and delivering outbound profile and campaigns, has successfully delivered increased profile and revenue for organisations such as McLaren Applied (Part of McLaren Group), BAE Systems and Siemens.

Marie is a Chartered Institute of Marketing Fellow and is also a Board Director for the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) providing advice and guidance on marketing, communication and engagement strategies on behalf of the Institute.

Nicky Parker FCIM Chartered Marketer

Nicky is a Fellow with CIM and a Chartered Marketer, with nearly 30 years of marketing experience.

Since 2006 she has run a marketing agency, Bang Consulting, delivering fully outsourced marketing department services to SMEs. They are based in Hampshire, in the South East region, but their clients are based across the whole of England. Marketing is very focused around customer experience and Bang is very passionate about delivering great service.

In her CIM role, Nicky is helping to organise and run events in the South East. She is also a passionate champion of giving more support to agencies within the CIM.

Outside of her work, she is a keen baker, and her clients’ eyes light up when she meets them, as cake is bound to be involved! She is also a keen Ballroom and Latin American dancer, to competitive level.

Nicky is an active school governor, troubleshooting when schools need support with governance and leadership.

Sam Lee FCIM Chartered Marketer

I have worked in customer experience, sales and marketing 30 years, with around 20 years at director level with international responsibility. I have worked in travel, automotive and FMCG for brands and agencies.

I am currently the Marketing Director for Avis Budget Group, responsible for all aspects of marketing and PR for the UK, Norway, Denmark and Sweden (Heathrow is my second home).

I am Vice Chair - Education for the Committee, my previous role was Mentoring Ambassador for the South East region. I also volunteered for CIM in the Thames Valley region and held the Chair position for a year.

I hold a ILM qualification in coaching and mentoring, I am also a Fellow with CIM and a Chartered Marketer.

Lisa Nell DipM MCIM Chartered Marketer

Lisa has over 27 years’ experience in financial services marketing across the UK/EMEA as well as globally, within both the B2C and B2B markets.

She started her career journey in the South African banking industry as a communications manager before moving to London in 2001 to work in the private wealth sector. 

Today, in her role as Global Head of Marketing for Invesco Real Estate, she leads a team of eight dedicated marketing professionals based in Dallas, London and Munich, covering all aspects of marketing from brand management, design and collateral development to events, public relations and digital marketing. 

Lisa volunteers as the Vice Chair of Events and Communications for CIM’s South East Region Group Committee; is a Chartered Marketer and a member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM). As someone who is passionate about paying forward all she has learned over her career, Lisa became a qualified coach in 2021 and has been a mentor for both CIM’s and Invesco’s Women’s Network mentoring schemes for the past few years helping younger people in the industry with their goal aspirations and career progression.
