CIM is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcus Thrall FCIM, as its new Creative Ambassador for Yorkshire.

Marcus, who is Chief Marketing Officer at Authenticate IS based in Harrogate, takes over from Joe Chetcutti. Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “Although we are sorry to see Joe stand down, we are very excited to welcome Marcus into the role, who I am sure will develop and grow the Creative Sector in the region.”

Marcus has 25 years’ experience in marketing on client, consultancy and agency sides and became a Fellow of CIM in 2017.  He said, “Firstly, to be awarded my Fellowship and now this incredibly exciting role all in the space of months is fantastic.  I am both humbled and delighted with my appointment to this position.  I feel so strongly about the CIM as our industry leading body and how Creativity must be at the very centre of our principles.  I see it as an opportunity for me to give something back to the organisation, our industry and speak out for creativity in its traditional design form but champion creativity in data, digital, analytics and how we as marketers can embrace it across all our campaigns.  I am keen to enhance the reputation of marketing as one of the most important business disciplines."
