CIM is inviting North East businesses to attend a full day workshop which will give them the essential information on the law for marketers in Gateshead on 28 September.

Diane Earles, Network Manager at CIM, said, “This workshop will ensure you are up-to-date with current marketing law.” She continued, “Regardless of Brexit, sweeping changes to Data Protection Law are on the horizon and you and your clients only have until May 2018 to prepare for them. This update will demystify many of the myths around how to become more compliant with the new regime and provide you with practical advice on how to get the best value out of marketing databases. Over and above GDPR this session will also bring you up to date with recent changes in Marketing and Advertising Law pre- and post-Brexit, including in relation to Social Media.”
