CIM has today announced that it will once again be running a series of careers events across the North of England in the New Year to help individuals find out about careers in marketing.

Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, explained "Whether you are a would-be marketer, a graduate starting out or an experienced marketer looking for that next promotion then these events are for you."  She continued, "We are bringing together marketing recruiters, CIM tutors and practicing marketers to talk about their careers to date, which will hopefully inspire and advise marketers of the future, and current marketers on their next career move."

The events, titled 'Get into marketing' are open to members and non-members of CIM and are as follows:

29 January, Edge Hill University in the North West

30 January, Newcastle University in the North East

31 January, Huddersfield University in Yorkshire

The Yorkshire event will be held in Huddersfield University's brand new £28 million Oastler Building, which was opened in April by the Duke of York, and will form part of the university's celebrations of 50 years delivering marketing qualifications.
