Some description

Businesses are invited to attend the very first Leeds Beckett University and CIM breakfast event at University Business Centre on 11 October.

CIM’s SME Ambassador in Yorkshire, Kate Rigarlsford, explained, “We are delighted to be putting this joint event on for local SMEs in Leeds, which hopefully will be the first of many.” She continued, “Following networking over free breakfast pastries, we have two special guest speakers: Andy Lima, CIM Tutor at Leeds Business School, who will be discussing his technical knowledge of Digital Marketing, and John Award, Director of Salt Agency, who will be talking about their business journey and new cyber security scanning software. There is also the opportunity for attendees to have a tour of the Digital Hub and meet some of the businesses based there.”

Andy Lima is a business entrepreneur and academic with a broad range of experience in business creation, lecturing, researching and consultancy work in relation to working with both SMEs and large corporations.

Salt Agency rose to national fame after finding a security flaw in Facebook and is at the forefront of technical marketing and John is currently championing this new important software.

The free event is titled ‘Leeds Digital Hub Breakfast’ is open to all and is part of Leeds Business Week.
