Some descriptionWe are delighted to be one of the first regions to host a flagship event to launch the new national report Lessons from today’s leaders.

The Midlands event will include a presentation from Thomas Brown, director of strategy and marketing at CIM, alongside local marketing professionals who will share their own career journey experiences. The speakers include: Dr Keith Glanfield, Marketing Academic at Aston Business School; Hayley Walton, director of Customer Plus; and Nick Oppenheimer, executive planning director at McCann Erickson.

The special report commissioned by CIM captures the experiences of marketing professionals, and presents insights and recommendations to help marketers plan their own career. The evening includes an interactive panel discussion and all attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the full report.

“This is a not to be missed opportunity for all marketing professionals, whatever stage they are at in their career, to learn from the very best,” says CIM Midlands Chair Dr Paul Connor.

“The structure of the evening will allow attendees to gain practical advice from an inspiring leader as they share their highs and lows, successes and failures during their journey to success.”

CIM brought together a panel of today’s leaders from around the world, interviewing chief marketing officers, CEOs, agency leaders and successful entrepreneurs in order to compile the report. It features key moments in their careers and the lessons they took away from them. The results will help other marketing professionals chart their own course and deal with uncertainty, change and opportunity.

The event will take place on Thursday 19 November at Birmingham City University at 5:00pm. Tickets cost £20 for members and £35 for non-members.
