Some descriptionWe are delighted that following on from last year’s successful launch event, a second Future of Marketing Practice conference, will be held at Aston University on 06 June.

We will be joined by the Chief Executives of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and The British Academy of Management (BAM), who will both speak.  The agenda will be both challenging and controversial. Our research reveals why marketing is under threat, why the profession requires re-shaping and why we need to start right now to develop a response to some serious challenges.

We’ll be discussing and exploring these important issues alongside dispelling some important myths around the “hype” of artificial intelligence and uncovering new and important trends in media consumption.

There will be three professional development workshops in the afternoon enabling participants to share ideas, insight and best practice.  These will be led by, Dr Keith Glanfield, Dr Carola Wolf and Dr Gary Burke from Aston Business School.
Come along to find out more,  discover how we can develop new ways of working to improve marketing’s influence and discuss with senior figures in the marketing industry 'what we do next'.

Lunch is included in the day and thanks to subsidy from research money, the cost for the full day is just £20.00.

It’s a day nobody in marketing can afford to miss. Open to members and non-members alike, tickets are available now from here or call the  Network Support team on 01628 427340.

The event will be held at Aston Business School, Birmingham. Registration is from 09:30; the event starts at 10:00 and finishes at 16:30.
