New: social ads and creativity at marketing clubs

Some descriptionSome descriptionRun jointly by CIM and universities, the Marketing Clubs introduced this year provide an opportunity for London marketers to learn new skills, challenge their thinking and share experiences with the next generation of marketing talent. Two new clubs hold their inaugural events this month. The London College of Fashion (part of University of the Arts) plays host to marketers and students on 20 November. Then a week later, the London South Bank University launches its marketing club on 27 November.

Social advertising at London College of Fashion

With over 60% growth in spend on paid social media in the first quarter of 2017, its becoming essential for marketers to understand the impact of social advertising. During this CIM/London College of Fashion Marketing Club, we’ll focus on the two major social media platforms – Facebook and Instagram – and explore the different targeting and creative options available.

Mazen Hussain, Director of Paid Media & Creative, Croud. Maz has been working in the digital marketing sector for more than ten years, and now heads up Croud's paid media division, which incorporates social, display and programmatic advertising. Prior to joining Croud, Maz held positions at Annalect, OMD and The Search Works.

Matt Storrie, Performance Media Manager. A marketing graduate, Matt has been working in digital marketing for over three years. As Performance Media Manager at Croud, Matt manages social advertising campaigns for clients including Victoria's Secret, FitFlop and Moss Bros.
