New Professional Marketer Series for 2016-17

Some descriptionLast academic year we kicked off the Professional Marketer Series for marketers in the capital. These events proved popular so we’re running a new series for 2016-17. ‘Taking responsibility’ is the first event and will focus on brand culture and responsibility. We’ll discuss why brand culture is important and highlight why marketers need to play their part in ‘living’ and promoting a responsible culture throughout their organisation and marketing activity. You’ll also have an opportunity to meet and network with other professional marketers.

Build your capability

The Professional Marketer Series runs over nine months. The series is designed to enhance both the technical skills and management capabilities of marketers aspiring to reach the highest level of our profession. Each of the eight events in the series features a session on one of the eight technical skills that form the basis of the CIM’s Professional Marketing Standards. The second session focuses on one or more of the essential behaviours that marketing professionals need to contribute towards business goals. Attending the series will help to build your knowledge, competence and authority as a professional marketer and contribute significantly to your Continuing Professional Development and gaining or maintaining Chartered Marketer status.
