Volunteers wanted: join the regional board for London

Some descriptionSome descriptionWe have an opportunity for two senior marketers to join the CIM GLR Board to help us create and deliver a range of activities designed to meet the career development needs of CIM members in London. The two voluntary roles are:

Excel Ambassador - the primary aim of this role is to increase the number of CIM professional members actively engaged in the CIM CPD programme.

Sector Interest Group Ambassador - the aims of this role are to raise awareness and membership of the CIM’s Sector Interest Groups among members and promote Affiliate Membership to non-members.

We are looking for two experienced managers, preferably Chartered Marketers, who not only have a passion for marketing but also a desire to contribute time and effort to help others develop successful marketing careers.

You would need to commit an hour or two each week as well as attend quarterly Regional Board meetings held in central London. In return all GLR Ambassadors can attend any GLR Professional Marketer Series event free of charge – a great way to gain or maintain Chartered Marketer status.

If you are interested in joining our volunteer team of like-minded senior marketers as either Excel Ambassador or Sector Interest Group Ambassador then apply to the CIM Network Manager for London, Philip Preston at philip.preston@cim.co.uk by Thursday 23 June 2016. He will send you a role description and an application form … well, more an elevator pitch than a formal application.

You can also email Philip if you have any questions or call him on 07920 808432.
