London marketers report on Professional Marketer Series

Some descriptionIn September we invited applications from London members for two roles as official bloggers for the new Professional Marketers Series of events. Several members stepped forward to audition for the role. It’s been impressive to see local members active on social media and willing to volunteer to support fellow marketers in the capital. Thank you to everyone who participated. We’re delighted to announce that Mieke Evans from Sport London and Eileen Donaghey from Anthony Gold Solicitors have been selected as the official Professional Marketer Series bloggers. Both marketers offer a refreshing perspective, and will give you their insights and impressions as the series unfolds, posting on dedicated blogs on publishing platform ‘Medium’, Youtube and twitter.

Whether you can make it to the events in the series or not you’ll find their reports enlightening.

  • If you attend each event their posts will offer an alternative view of the event, to either cement or challenge your own views, as well as being a useful reminder of important information.
  • If you’re unable to make some of the dates, you’ll be able to gain an overview of what you’ve missed as the series progresses.

About the Professional Marketer Series

The series runs from October 2015 to June 2016 with eight events designed to enhance both the technical skills and management capabilities of marketers aspiring to reach the highest level of our profession.  These skills and capabilities form the basis of the CIM’s Professional Marketing Standards©. By attending all eight or multiple events, you can build your knowledge and authority as a professional marketer. This will contribute towards your continuing professional development, and help you to gain or retain Chartered Marketer status.
